Hey there, my name is Sarandon!

I'm a fine artist and photographer in Maryland where I live my most coastal-grandmother life with my daughter and two dogs. I work with couples in the Maryland, DC, NOVA area and enjoy the opportunity to travel! 

My background includes a formal art education as well as hands on experience working under talented photographers, artists, and designers. My first love in art was painting and that affection has carried over into my approach to photography. The same principles of design that are used when you put a brush to canvas are the principles that make a photo into a piece of art.

My degree in fine arts gave me a framework that is an important part of how I approach the visual aspect of my work. Using dynamic light to enhance an image, or composition to emphasize the power of an emotional moment helps create wedding galleries for my clients that are strikingly beautiful and honest at the same time. My husband and I hired her to photograph multiple events throughout the wedding season of our lives - she beautifully captured memories of our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and even our honeymoon. Yes we took her on our honeymoon because she's that amazing. She is a kind and calming presence on a wedding day, and an expert in every aspect of what she does. We looked long and hard for a photographer to do our same-sex wedding and it was a breath of fresh air to not only find one but to see same-sex couples all over her page. The wedding was nothing short of a dream because of her! She got every picture we could want, was the ultimate hype girl and made us laugh all day long! We’re so happy to have got amazing pictures and an amazing friend!! We will for sure use her for every anniversary, maternity and family photos to come if she’ll have us!!
